Ann Royce

Ann Royce, 84, formerly of Freemansburg Ave. in Bethlehem Township; died Thursday morning at Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem.

Mrs. Royce, born in Bethlehem, was the widow of Harold Royce who died in 1984. She was the daughter of the late Antonio DeCarlo and Lena Pelizoto Nace. She was also the step-daughter of the late Vernan Nace.

Many years ago, Ann had worked as a phone operator for Eternal Light of Allentown. She also worked and volunteered for the Salvation Army, Goodwill Industries and Catholic Charities in New York.

She is survived by her brothers, Peter DeCarlo and his wife, Jane, Frank DeCarlo and his wife, Maria, and his sister-in-law, Stella De Carlo, all of Bethlehem. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Ann DeCarlo of Slatington; nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers Anthony and Victor.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at 1 p.m. in the Connell Funeral Home, 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem. Visitation will be from 12 noon to 1p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
