Anna A. Zirko

Anna A. (Szuter) Zirko, 92, of Bethlehem, passed away Monday, September 15, 2014 at Holy Family Manor in Bethlehem. Born December 19, 1921 she was the daughter of the late Ignatz and Agnes Szuter. She was married to the late John M. Zirko who passed away on March 14, 1998. Anna worked as a Sewing machine operator for Trio Togs for many years retiring in 1985. She was a member of the I.L.G.W.U. Anna was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Miller Heights.

Anna will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Carol Kozo and husband, Richard, of Bethlehem; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Nawoyski of Lakewood, NJ; grandson, Douglas R. Kozo, granddaughter, Kristin Westwood and husband, Wilbur; and two great-grandsons, Mason and Jacob Westwood. She was preceded in death by her brother, John Szuter; and sisters, Catherine Lata and Josephine Vargo.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at 12:30 PM at Holy Family Manor Chapel, 1200 Spring St., Bethlehem, PA 18018. A viewing will be held from 11:30 to 12:30 PM in the chapel. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.

In lieu of flowers: memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Manor.
