Anna C. Nelson

Anna C. Nelson, 92, of Bethlehem, died on Monday, December 2, 2013. She was born February 10, 1921 in Bethlehem; daughter of the late Vincenzo and Josephine (Parenti) Bove. Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E. Nelson.

Anna was a machine operator in South Allentown for the August F. Neilson Mfg. Co. She was a former parishioner of Our Lady of Pompeii of the Most Holy Rosary and was a member of St. Annes Catholic Church.

She will be lovingly remembered by her sisters, Rose Facchiano, Marjorie Ortwein and Jenny Marz and her brother, Eugene Bove as well as her 18 nieces and nephews and 21 great nieces and nephews. Anna was predeceased by her sister, Grace Parenti and brothers, Ralph, Peter and Anthony Bove and two nephews.

A visitation will be held at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA on Thursday, December 5, 2013 from 7-9 PM and again on Friday, December 6, 2013 from 9-10 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Friday at St. Annes Catholic Church, 450 Washington Ave. Bethlehem, PA 18017. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
