Anna E. Oravec

Anna E. Oravec, 97, of Bethlehem died Saturday July 26, 2008 at Holy Family Manor in Bethlehem. She was born on October 21, 1910 in Bethlehem daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Pulcher Polenchar. She was the wife of John S. Oravec. They would have celebrated 79 years of marriage on August 6, 2008.

Anna was a member of the Incarnation of Our Lord Catholic Church Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Bethlehem. She was also a member of the Catholic Sokols. Anna was a homemaker and was very devoted to her family.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, sons, Donald J. Oravec and wife Dolores of Bethlehem, and Gerald T. Oravec and wife Carol of Punta Gorda, Fla., daughter Rosemary T. Lilly and husband Wilbur of Bethlehem. , sisters Elizabeth Chladny of Fountain Hill, and Dorothy Crement of Jacksonville, Fla. , 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a sister Mary Oravec and a brother Joseph Polenchar.

Services will be held 10AM on Tuesday July 29, 2008 at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, Pa. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10:30AM at the Incarnation of Our Lord Catholic Church Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church 617 Pierce St. Bethlehem, Pa. 18015. Calling hours 8:30-10:00AM Tuesday morning at the funeral home.
