Anna E. Vresk

Jesus gently called Anna home on October 28, 2008 at Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown.

She will be remembered for her gentle, loving and generous spirit with family and friends, including caring for God's "furry creatures".

Born September 26, 1949 in Ft. Hill, Anna was the daughter of the late Stephen J. and Mary M. Bednarik Vresk.

She was a lifetime member of the former SS. Cyril & Methodious Catholic Church, now Incarnation of Our Lord Parish. She had been employed at the former Hess Brothers store in Allentown and then for 24 years at Bethlehem Steel Co. retiring as a keypunch operator.

Surviving are a brother Joseph and three sisters, Clare, Clarice and Elizabeth.

She was predeceased by a brother Stephen in 2007.

There will be calling hours at Connell Funeral Home on Friday, Oct. 31 from 7 - 9 PM and on Sat., Nov. 1 from 9:30 - 10:30AM. Services will begin with prayers at 10:30 AM on Saturday at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Incarnation of Our Lord Church, 617 Pierce St. at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in Anna's name may be made to the church or to an animal shelter of your choice.
