Anna E Waldschmitt

Anna E Waldschmitt, 84, of Bethlehem, died on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at her Residence in Bethlehem. She was born in Bethlehem and was the daughter of the late Augustus and Margaret HoffmanWaldschmitt.

Anna was a secretary in the purchasing department at the former Bethlehem Steel Corp. retiring after 39 years service. She was a member of Ss. Simon and Jude Roman Catholic Church Bethlehem. Anna volunteered for the Red Cross as a gray lady at St. Luke's Hospital in 1958. She also volunteered for Music Fest and the Bach Choir.

Anna will be lovingly remembered by three nieces Mary Townsend of Whitehall, PA, Ann Townsend-Pors of Owego, NY and Catherine T. Mahan of North Myrtle Beach, SC and a nephew Robert Waldschmitt of California, MD and two great nephews Robert and Christopher Waldschmitt of California, MD and a great niece MacKenzie Mahan of North Myrtle Beach, SC.

Anna is predeceased by her parents, a brother Joseph A. Waldschmitt and a sister Margaret W. Townsend.

Visitation will be at Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 East Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 on Friday, September 25, 2009 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Ss Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church, 730 West Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 on Friday, September 25, 2009 at 10:00 AM.
