Anna Elizabeth Carchio

Anna Elizabeth Carchio, 96, of Lower Nazareth Township passed away Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Manor Care in Easton. Born November 15, 1919 in Bethlehem she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Matus. She was married to Anthony James Carchio for 48 years until his death on May 23, 1994.

Anna worked several jobs throughout her life. She worked as a beautician, a necktie presser for Forte Neckwear, a waitress at the Blue Anchor, Lower Nazareth School District in the food service and the Purity Food Market. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic church in Bethlehem Township.

Anna was dedicated to her husband and daughter and caring for them. Her family was the most important aspect of her life.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Joann Carchio with whom she resided. She was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Fuisz and a nephew, Zoltan Fuisz.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 4, 2016 at Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem at 10:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Annas name to the charity of ones choice.
