Anna G. Johnston

Anna G. Johnston, 92, of Bethlehem passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Lehigh Valley Hospice. Born June 11, 1922 in Bethlehem she was the daughter of the late Robet T. and Mary K. (Vooz) Johnston.

Anna was a 1940 graduate of Liberty High School. She was employed by Bethlehem Steel Corporation for 42 years, retiring in 1982 as a Supervisor, Input Station #3 Sales-Order Entry Division. Anna was also a parishioner of Notre Dame Catholic Church in Bethlehem.

Anna is survived by her nieces, Maryanne Mitchell and husband Robert, Mary Kay Reed and husband Scott, Suzanne Benko and husband Rodney and Janice Johnston, nephew, Bill Ruth and wife Sherri, sister in law, Cathy Johnston and seven great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Maurice T. Johnston and Robert J. Johnston and a sister, Marie E. Ruth.

A viewing will be held on Friday, July 25, 2014 at Notre Dame Catholic Church 1861 Catasauqua Rd Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 10-10:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem. Arrangements Connell Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Annas name to Notre Dame Catholic Church or to Lehigh Valley Hospice 17th & Chew St. Allentown, PA 18104.
