Anna Jasper

Anna Jasper, 94, of Nazareth, formerly of Cementon, died Thursday, May 22, 2008 in Gracedale. She was born July 15, 1913 in Plymouth, Pa., daughter of the late Michael and Helen Petruska Shaputnic. She was the loving wife of the late Joseph M. Jasper, who died in 1963. Anna was formerly employed by the Charles Engelhard family in New Jersey. She was a member of St. Annes Catholic Church and their sodality. Survivors: She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews, Patricia, wife of Paul Huska, of Tucson, Ariz., Kathleen, wife of Rick Kemmerle, of Dove Canyon, Calif., Frances Krimin in Pennsylvania, Vicky Murphy in Virginia, Caroline Shaputnic in California, Helen Bolinger of Pennsylvania, Skip Shaputnic in California, Gayle Malone in California and Regina Cuomo of Massachusetts. She was preceded in death by her sister, Kathryn Davco, and brothers, John, Walter, Michael and Frank. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, May 24, 2008 at 10:30 a. m. in St. Annes Catholic Church, 450 Washington Ave., Bethlehem, 18017. Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the church. Burial will be in Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery, Northampton. Contributions: May be made to the church.
