Anna Kalata

Anna (Tyciak) Kalata, 95, of Bethlehem, died on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Saucon Valley Manor, Hellertown. Born in Ormrod, PA on December 15, 1917; she was the daughter of the late Wasyl "Charles" and Pauline (Bobelak) Tyciak. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, George E. Kalata.

Anna was a long time member of the former Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church and of the Catholic Sokols Wreath #32.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, George R. and wife, Laura of Auburn, AL; daughters, Nancy Penczak and husband, David of Hackettstown, NJ and Carol Jacob and husband, Thomas of Bethlehem; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and a sister, Jenny Pecsek of Bethlehem.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, where visitation will be held on Monday January 14th from 9 to 10:30 a.m. A funeral service will follow, in the funeral home, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 617 Main St. Hellertown, PA 18055.
