Anna Labar

Anna (Domyan) LaBar, 89, of Bethlehem, passed away November 12, 2014 at St. Lukes Hospital in Bethlehem. Born April 21, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Annie (Nemeth) and Charles Domyan. She was married to Frank LaBar for 62 years until his death on May 4, 2007. Anna dedicated her life to caring for her family. She and her husband loved to go out dancing to the polkas and she also loved to shop. Anna was a member of St. Josephs Catholic Church in Bethlehem.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Frank LaBar; daughters, Barbara, wife of Jack McMurtrie and Linda Williams; sister, Dorothy, wife of Bill Wertman; grandchildren, Stacy, Brent and wife Erin, Ryan and Ashley; and great-grandchildren, Alexis, Jenna, Claire, Rory and Owen. She was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Nagy; brothers, Edward and Stephen Domyan; step-sister, Mary and step- brothers, Fred and Charlie.

A viewing will be held Monday, November 17, 2014 at Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 6-8 p.m. and again on Tuesday from 8:15-9:15 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 1861 Catasauqua Rd., Bethlehem, PA 18018 at 10a.m. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
