Anna M. Hood

Anna M. Hood, 77, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Thursday, August 16, 2018. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Efren and Maria (DelCampo) Castro. She was the beloved wife of Charles O. Hood; they were married for 53 years.

Anna was a 1959 graduate of Liberty High School and a member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church. She was an avid sports fan who loved attending Phillies and Iron Pigs games. She also enjoyed dining out with her friends.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Charles; son, Chuck; daughter, Maria Quigney and her husband, Tom; grandchildren: Sean, Karlo, and Tessa; and brothers, Daniel Castro, and Joseph Castro and his wife, Betty.

Visitation will be held in the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., on Tuesday, August 21, from 9 to 11 a.m. followed by an 11 a.m. funeral service, in the funeral home. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital or the VNA of St. Lukes.
