Anna M. Marcisin

Anna M. Marcisin, 96, of Bethlehem, formerly of Sebastian, Florida died on August 2, 2017. She was the wife of the late Joseph R. Marcisin, they were married for 59 years. She was the daughter of the late Anna and Andrew Sabo of Hellertown.

Anna was a graduate of Hellertown High School and attended Northampton Community College.

She was employed at the Bethlehem Steel Corporation in the General Services Department for 30 years before retiring in 1980. She was a member of St. Annes Catholic Church in Bethlehem, where she was past President of the 55+ Club, taught C.C.D., served as a Eucharistic Minister, and was active in the Autumn Fest. She was also member of St. Annes Sodality and the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary.

She was a past member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church of Florida where she served as a Lector, Eucharistic Minister, and taught C.C.D. Anna was also a member of the Ecumenical Council of Churches, co-director of four church musicals and a volunteer for Immigration Naturalization Service, St. Vincent DePaul Society and election polls.

Anna will be lovingly remembered by her siser, Veronica Gosling; 2 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Marcisin; sister, Elizabeth D. Macri and brothers, Steve and Andrew Sabo.

A calling hour will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2017 from 10-11 a.m. at St. Annes Catholic Church, 450 E. Washington Ave. Bethlehem, PA 18017. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be private.
