Anna M. Potter

Anna Marie Ranek Potter, 89, of Northampton, died February 21, 2012 at Praxis Alzheimer's Facility. She was the wife of the late Stephen F. Potter, who died June 11, 2010, at which time they were married for 64 years. They were co-owners of the Driftwood Restaurant along with Harry Ranek in Coopersburg. Born in Central City, PA on December 5, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Anastasia Ranek.

Anna was a member of White Shrine of Allentown and Bethlehem Amaranth. She was also a member and past Worthy Matron of Eastern Star Chapter North Penn District #457, Coopersburg.

Anna is survived by her daughter, Sheryll wife of William Votral of Northampton, with whom she resided, grandson, Matthew Votral and his wife Beata of Royal Oak, MI, granddaughter, Tami wife of Tim Coughlan of Northampton and her great granddaughters, Madelyn Coughlan and Gabriella Votral, sisters, Mary Medgie of Bethlehem, Catherine Myers and husband Clyde of Macungie, brother, Harry Ranek and wife Evelyn of Coopersburg.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Ranek and sisters, Helen King and Nancy Moore.

Services: Are private and will be held at the convenience of the family. Connell Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers donations may made in Anna's name to Share Care of the Lehigh Valley 321 Wyandotte Street, Bethlehem, PA 18015.
