Anna Mae (nee Hollendersky) Kita

Anna Mae passed away, peacefully, on June 12, 2024, at Country Meadows Nursing Home, in Bethlehem Township, PA. She was born in Gates, PA on June 30, 1934. She was the daughter of the late Anna Hugya and George Hollendersky. She was married to Bernard F Kita for 67 years.

She attended Ss Cyril & Methodius Parochial School and Bethlehem Catholic High School in Bethlehem, and Allentown Business School. She had worked as a Comptometer operator at Bethlehem Steel, and, after raising four children as a stay-at-home mom, she was employed as a food service worker at Liberty High School for many years.

She is survived by her husband Bernard and four children: Rebecca Mothersbaugh); Timothy; Melissa; Christopher. Also surviving are ten grandchildren: James and Blair Mothersbaugh; Natalie Kita; Kenna, Adam and Maya Kita; Travis, Lucas, Brendon and Samantha Eddy.

She enjoyed Knitting, sewing, reading, cooking (especially ethnic foods and home-canning), holidays, family activities, and camping.

She was a life-long member of Ss Simon & Jude Roman Catholic Church.

A private family service will be held at a later date, with interment at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
