Anna Marie K. Zawadski

Anna Marie K. Zawadski, 81, of Bethlehem Township, died peacefully on Tuesday, July 07, 2015. She was born in Bethlehem, daughter of the late Frederick and Kathryn (Vallone) Hoffman. She was the loving wife of the late Charles Zawadski who died in 2013; they were married 60 years. Anna was the head cook at Freedom High School for 25 years, retiring in 1996. She was also an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Patti Menow (Jeff), Debbie Krauss, and Charles Zawadski (Lisa); grandchildren: Brad (Gina), Todd (Argie), David (Margaret), Sherri (Michael), Tricia (Royce), and Kady; great granddaughters: Hayley, Drue, Camryn, and Hannah; and her beloved canine companion, Sammy. She was predeceased by her daughters, Gail and Diane.

Visitation will be held at the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, on Thursday, July 9, from 9 to 10 a.m. A 10 a.m. funeral service will follow in the funeral home. Burial will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House.
