Anna Marie Novatnack

Anna Marie Butala Novatnack, 87, of Bethlehem PA, passed away on June 10, 2017, at Sacred Heart Senior Living by Saucon Creek. She was the wife of William Novatnack. They observed their 62nd wedding anniversary on November 13, 2016, just days before Bill passed away.

Born in McAdoo on February 23, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (Natishin) Butala. She was a graduate of McAdoo High School. She worked for ShopWell Markets and as a Medical Receptionist before retiring in 1992. Anna enjoyed fishing, camping and traveling with her husband in addition to an active life as members of Notre Dame Church of Bethlehem for 60 years where they participated in everything from the annual carnival to the 55 Club, and when her sons were young, Anna was present as a volunteer at the school and in the lunch room.

Survivors: Anna was preceded in death by her husband William; she is survived by two sons, Thomas and his wife Melodie of Allentown and Robert and his wife Ellen of Bethlehem; two granddaughters, Jennifer and her husband Jeffery Weaver and Andrea and her husband Jason Strohl; one grandson Matthew; two great-granddaughters, Riley & Addison Strohl; two siblings brother Robert, husband of Bonnie and sister Elaine, wife of Francis Shelby. Predeceased by brothers Andrew Jr. and Joseph. Service: will be held on Friday, June 16, 2017, at 10:30 A.M. at Notre Dame Church in Bethlehem with calling hours from 9:30 - 10:30 A.M. in the Church and burial services immediately following at Holy Savior Cemetery in Bethlehem.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in memory of Anna to Notre Dame Catholic Church 1861 Catasauqua Road, Bethlehem, PA 18018.
