Anna Marie Smolsky

Anna Marie Smolsky, 92, of Bethlehem, PA died Friday, December 25, 2009 at Hospice House of the VNA of St. Luke's in Bethlehem. Born October 17, 1917 in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Anastasia Strybuc and Joseph S. Smolsky.

Anna Marie worked for the City of Bethlehem as a secretary in the Water Department for over 20 years. Prior to working for the City of Bethlehem, Anna Marie worked for the Easton Dress Factory. She was a member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church in Bethlehem.

Anna Marie will be lovingly remembered by her sister, Helen Jabour of Easton, PA and brother, Steve Smolsky of Texas. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Florence Smolsky, Josephine Messinger and brother, Stanley Smolsky. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 from 9-10:30 AM followed by a service at 10:30 AM at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. Burial will follow at the Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
