Anna P. Balog

Anna P. Balog, 99, of Bethlehem, died on Sunday, June 5, 2016. She was born in Lubisha, Czechoslovakia, the daughter of the late Michael and Susan (Mamay) Murvsky and one of five children. She was the loving wife of Michael G. Balog. They celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary before his death in 2000.

Anna dedicated her life to her family. She was a parishioner of Incarnation of Our Lord Parish in Bethlehem. Anna loved cooking and baking and was also a member of the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Union for the past 20 years.

She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Michael S. Balog, Joseph M. Balog and his wife, Victoria, John S. Balog and his wife, Michelle all of Bethlehem; daughters, Roseann Levering of Bethlehem; and Barbara Billig of Danielsville; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandsons, Michael F. Balog and Ryan Peteskus.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Incarnation of Our Lord Parish, 617 Pierce St., Bethlehem, PA 18015. Visitation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. in the church. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
