Anna R. Fenicle

Anna R. Fenicle, 86, of Freemansburg, died on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at St. Luke's Hospital. She was born July 1, 1926; the oldest of eight children to the late Herman and Anna (Gutman) Sommer. She was the devoted wife of 55 years to her late husband, Dean "Diz" F. Fenicle.

Ann retired from the former Durkee Foods in Bethlehem after 25 years of service. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Miller Heights. Ann was a hard worker, a wonderful baker and had a very giving and selfless spirit. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Cynthia L. Martin and her husband Michael of Hanover Township and Karen A. Voth of Fountain Hill; two grandchildren, Zack Martin of Quakertown and Hillary, wife of Anthony D'Ambrosio of Allentown and their daughter, Hannah. Ann will also be dearly missed by her sisters, Mary Pagats, Elsie Sukanick and Geraldine Steirer and her brother, Richard Sommers. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Jack Voth; sister, Rose Holencik and brothers, Herky and John Sommers.

Services: A Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at The Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 and again from 8:30-9:15 a.m. on Monday in the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. on Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1817 1st St. Bethlehem, PA 18020. Contributions may be made to the church and/or The American Heart Association, 212 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018.
