Anna B. Zabrecky, 94, of Bethlehem, died on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at Holy Family Manor.
She was born April 12, 1918 in Bethlehem, daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Estock) Pavlo. Anna was preceded in death by her husband Francis Zabrecky. She was a parishioner of Incarnation of our Lord Parish and was a member of the former Ss Cyril and Methodius Drill Team as well as the FCSLA Cadets. Anna was an excellent seamstress and enjoyed playing bingo.
She will be dearly missed by her sisters-in-law Anna Pavlo of Bethlehem and Marcella Pavlo of Ohio; her nieces and nephews, Catherine Policare of Vero Beach, FL; Joseph and Thomas Pavlo both of Bethlehem; Regina Richter and her husband Michael of Whitehall; Michael Pavlo of South Carolina; Karen Kennedy and her husband Alan of Ohio and Marybeth Avalle of California as well as her great niece Maria Pavlo and great nephews, Joseph Pavlo and Stephen and Anthony Richter. Anna was preceded in death by her brothers, Michael, John and Joseph.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Connell Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2012 from 11:30 am -12:30 pm at the Holy Family Manor Chapel 1200 Spring St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a Mass of Christian Burial to immediately follow. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the School Sisters of St. Francis 395 Bridle Path Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18017.
