Anne Almer

Anne Almer, 87, of Bethlehem, died on Monday, August 22, 2011 at Holy Family Manor. She was born in Bendorf, Germany the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Klein Kannengieser. She was the loving wife of the late Bruno Almer who died in 1998.

Anne worked for Sure Fit Products as a supervisor in the payroll department and previously for Bethlehem Steel in the steel foundry office.

She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Bethlehem.

Anne will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Susan, wife of Harry Bensinger of Bethlehem; granddaughters, Lesley Bensinger and her husband Ryan Adelman of Wilmington, DE; Lindsay, wife of Nicholas Rowe of Wilmington, DE; Laura Bensinger of San Jose, CA; and her great-grandson, Joshua Rowe of Wilmington, DE.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held, Thursday, August 25, 2011 at 10 a.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 450 Washington Ave. Bethlehem, PA 18017. Visitation will be from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
