Anne D. Laposky, 89, of Bethlehem died Tuesday September 11, 2007 at the VNA Hospice House of St. Lukes. She was born on January 30, 1918 the daughter of the late Stephen J. and Barbara Madzitz Kokosky. She was the wife of the late John C. Laposky, Sr.
Anne was a member of Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church. She was a waitress for most of her life and owned the Colony Bar & Grill in Bethlehem. She was a member of the Catholic Sokols and the Jednota Lodge #74. Anne loved to cook, spend time with her family and friends, travel, and especially play the lottery.
She will be lovingly remembered by her son, John C. Laposky, Jr. of Allentown, daughter Barbara A., wife of Dennis M. Doyle of Allentown, Pa. brother, Michael Kokosky of Bethlehem, sisters, Frances Puhan and Dorothy Taglang both of Bethlehem,
three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by brothers, Stephen, Joseph and Edward and sisters Mary Donchez, Helen Rengle and Agnes Gall.
Services will be on Friday Sept. 14, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem followed by a Mass of Christian Burial
10 a.m. at Ss. Cyril & Methodius Church 617 Pierce St. Bethlehem, Pa. 18015 Calling hour from 8:30-9:30 a.m. in the funeral home
