Anne K. Bambu

Anne K. Bambu, 102, died on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Holy Family Manor. She was born November 7, 1912; daughter of the late Louis and Mary C. (Karp) Karpowich. Anne was preceded in death by her husband, Emery Bambu in 1950.

Anne was both a volunteer and employee of Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Church for many years. At the age of 50, she graduated from St. Lukes School of Nursing and worked as an LPN for 15 years at St. Lukes Hospital.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Richard and his wife, Gail of Bethlehem; her nieces Michele and Sandra. Anne was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Karpowich and her brothers, John and Michael Karpowich.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12 p.m. on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Holy Family Manor Chapel, 1200 Spring St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Manor.
