Anne M. Bender

Anne M. Bender, of Bethlehem, died on Wednesday, October 22, 2014, at Cedar Brook Nursing Home in Fountain Hill. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Ward) North. She was the devoted wife of the late Allen Bender.

Anne dedicated her life to her family. She was a parishioner of St. Annes Catholic Church for 50 years and later Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Church.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Robert Bender and his wife, Susan; two daughters, Joan, wife of the late Thomas Ludwig, and Jane, wife of Robert Galle all of Bethlehem; her eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and her sister, Rose Rentzheimer. She was preceded in death by her three brothers, James, John and Robert North and one great grandson.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Connell Funeral Home, Inc. has been entrusted to her arrangements.

Memorials may be made to Cedar Brook Fountain Hill and/or Holy Family Manor.
