Anne Marie Horbelt

Anne Marie Horbelt of Palmer Township passed away on June 20, 2013, peacefully with her loving family at her side. She was the devoted wife of the late William Horbelt with whom she shared almost 60 years until his death on January 7, 1997.

She was born December 19, 1917 in Steelton, PA, daughter of the late Stanley Pasternak and Michalina Romanizyn.

She worked in a defense plant during World War II, after the war, she worked 27 years for ShopRite in New Jersey. Anne enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening and time spent with her family. She was a catholic.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Mildred J., wife of Robert Ohm of Monroe, CT; her son, William E. Horbelt of Lower Nazareth, PA; four grandchildren, Diane E. Patton and spouse, Jonathan, of Imperial, PA; Susan C. Fattibene and spouse, Robert, of Naugutuck, CT; William A. Horbelt of Alburtis, PA; and Stephen E. Horbelt of Santa Monica, CA; and her great-granddaughter, Elena Anne Fattibene of Naugutuck, CT.

She was preceded in death by her son, Edward Horbelt; siblings, baby Helen Pasternak; Walter, Michael and Anthony Pasternak; and Mary Pasternak Stefanik.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, June 23, 2013 at 4 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E, Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be on Monday, June 24th at 12 p.m. at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, NJ.
