Anne Reichard

Anne L. Reichard, 90, of Bethlehem, died peacefully with her son by her side, on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at the Hospice House of the VNA of St. Luke's.

She was born April 19, 1920 in Bethlehem, the daughter of the late John and Josephine DeSentis.

Anne was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Walter F. Reichard.

She retired from August F. Nielson Mfg. Co. after 27 years of service as a Machine Operator.

Anne was a parishioner of the former Our Lady of Pompeii of the Most Holy Rosary and currently was a parishioner of St. Anne's Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son Dennis W. Reichard and his wife Gail of Bethlehem; sisters, Rose Bailey of Bryn Mawr and Mary Stengel of Bethlehem; her brother, Albert DeSentis of Bethlehem; as well as four grandchildren, Christine, Matthew, Mary and Mark.

Anne was also predeceased by her sisters Margaret Caravello and Antoinette Curzi and her brothers Julius and Ernest DeSentis.

Anne's family will receive friends on Sunday, July 18, 2010 from 6 to 8 PM at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem and again Monday, July 19, 2010 from 8:30 to 9:30 AM in the funeral home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 19, 2010 at 10 AM at St. Anne's Catholic Church 450 Washington Ave. Bethlehem PA 18017.

Memorial contributions may be made to the church and/or VNA Hospice of St. Luke's 1510 Valley Center Parkway Suite 200 Bethlehem PA 18017

Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem
