Anthony D. Kociolek, Sr.

Anthony D. Kociolek, Sr., 86, of Bethlehem, died Saturday November 14, 2015, at home, surrounded by his family. He was born January 6, 1929 and raised on the south side of Bethlehem. He was the son of the late Anna (Mendzk) and Martin Kociolek. Anthony was the loving husband of Catherine (Kraynak), with whom he was married to for 62 years.

Anthony was a member of the former St. Stanislaus Catholic Church where he served as an altar boy. He attended Bethlehem High School and later worked at the Bethlehem Steel Co. He proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War. Anthony enjoyed being outside, especially camping at Hickory Run and was an avid Lehigh University sports fan.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Catherine; Sons, Anthony and wife, Holly; Martin and wife Tina; daughter, Carol Jinks and husband Doug and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers John and Frank Kociolek, Walter, Joe and Bill Marshaleck and sisters, Anna Kuchar and Stella Vincovitch.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
