Anthony J. Fauci, 92, of Bethlehem, died on Saturday, July 23, 2016. He was born March 1, 1924 in Stamford, CT; son of the late Guiseppe and Calogera (Tortorici) Fauci. He was the husband of the late Phyllis (Tronolone) Fauci who died in 2015; they were married 64 years. Anthony worked for the City of New York Board of Education for 40 years, retiring in 1983. He was a parishioner of St. Annes Catholic Church, a 4th degree Knight of Columbus and a U.S. Army WWII veteran.
Anthony will be dearly missed by his children, Carla and George Licata; Ann and Stephen Palermo; and Jo-Ann and Anton Kristofic; as well as his grandchildren, Jocine and Joseph; Phyllis and Keith; Laura; John and Katie; Angela; Diana and Robert; and his great grandchildren, Elyse; Joseph; Keira; Evie and Anthony.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 26, from 6- 8 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at The Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Annes Catholic Church, 450 E. Washington Ave. Bethlehem, PA 18017. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery.
