Anthony Marino, 85 , of Bethlehem, died on Friday, November 14, 2008 at St.Lukes Hospital in Bethlehem. He was born in Bethlehem and was the son of the late Vincent and Antoinette Serbadio Marino. Anthony is the husband of Margaret Valish Marino with whom he celebrated 62 years of marriage on June 1, 2008.

Anthony was a barber in Bethlehem for 35 years retiring in 1983. He also worked for the former Champion Spark Plug in Hellertown for 5 years. Anthony served his country during WW II in the U. S. Army serving in the India , Burma and China Theathers. He was a member of the Hellertown American Legion and the Bethlehem M.O. R.A. Club. Anthony was a member of Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Church.

Anthony is survived by his wife Margaret, a son Vincent A. Marino and his wife Stella of Bethlehem Township, a daughter Patricia R. Zavecz and husband Richard of Bethlehem Township, a brother Michael Marino of CA, three sisters, Elizabeth Heller of Fountain Hill, Josephine Bittenbender of Allentown and Anita Glovas of Bethlehem, 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Anthony is predeceased by his parents, a brother Joseph Marino and a sister Julie Vargo.

Friends may call on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at the Connell Funeral Home, 245 East Broad St., Bethlehem 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1000 AM at Ss. Simon & Jude Catholic Church, 730 West Broad Street, Bethlehem, PA

Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery
