Antoinette Stankovic

Antoinette A. Stankovic, 90, died on Monday, September 24, 2012 at Gracedale Nursing Home. She was born March 1, 1922 in Ashfield, PA; daughter of the late Benjamin and Clementine (Augusta) Beirao. Antoinette was preceded in death by her husband, Michael J. Stankovic.

She was a graduate of Palmerton High School and continued her education in cosmetology school. Antoinette was a hairdresser for over 40 years working at the Americus Beauty Salon. She was also employed at Leh's Dept. Store. She was a parishioner of St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church, Berlinsville.

Antoinette will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter, Linda Gotzon and her husband Robert of Bethlehem as well as her grandson, Michael Gotzon and his wife Rebecca of Catasauqua. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Milkowich.

A calling hour will be held on Thursday, September 27, 2012 from 9:30- 10:30 AM at St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church, 4412 Mountain View Dr. Walnutport, PA 18088 with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at St. Nicholas Cemetery.
