Antonio Augusto Simoes Amaral

Antonio Augusto Simoes Amaral, 73, of Bethlehem, PA

died on Saturday, June 24, 2006 at St.Lukes Hospital in Bethlehem.

Born March 9, 1933 in Arcozelo da Serra, Portugal to the late Jose and Soledade Simoes Amaral. He was married to his wife Maria Amelia Boino Simao Amaral for 47 years. He was a member of Holy Infancy Church. Antonio was a member of the Portugese Club. He also was a member of Uniao Futebol Clube Arcozelo da Serra in Portugal.

He worked for the Montex Company for 13-15 years where he retired.

He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Emilia Amaral and daughter-in-law Emilia C. Amaral. He had two grandchildren Elizabeth and Filipe. He also left behind two sisters and two brothers who still live in Portugal.

He was preceded in Death by his son Jose Manuel Amaral.

SERVICES

Visitation will be at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St., Bethlehem on Tuesday, June 27, 2006 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday June 28, 2006 from 8:00 AM to 9:00AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Infancy Church, 312 E. Fourth St., Bethlehem at 9:30 AM.

Burial will be at Arcozelo de Serra, Portugal
