Antonio "Tony" Caban

Antonio “Tony” Caban, 51, of Easton, passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, following a brief battle with cancer.

Born on March 12, 1970, in Manhattan, New York, he was a son of the late Angel and Damaris (Rivera) Caban.

Antonio was a graduate of the Manhattan Graphic Communication Arts High School Class of 1988.

Film was Antonios passionparticularly old films dating to the 1930s and 1940s. He ran a film club, with its own website, that garnered a large following. Complimenting his passion for film was his love of old music and his gifts as an imaginative storyteller.

Outside of his role as a movie buff, he was a big family man who loved his nieces and nephews. Antonio lived his life on his own terms and will be remembered as a fighter, as well as one of the most caring individuals.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Angel and Damaris Caban.

Antonio will be lovingly remembered by his husband of eleven years, William “Billy” Gregory; four brothers: Angel Caban, Daniel Caban, Alberto Caban and Pedro Roman; five sisters: Elizabeth Caban-Feliciano, Rebecca Caban, Maritza Caban, Maritza Torres, and Miriam Previti; his step-mother: Abigail Narvaez; his step-father: Miguel Narvaez; and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his beloved cat, Sassy.

A visitation will be held at the Connell Funeral Home, Inc, 245 East Broad Street, Bethlehem, on Saturday, December 4, 2021, from 12:00 noon until the time of the funeral service at 1:00pm in the funeral home.

Arrangements are under the care of the Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 East Broad Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018.
