Audrey S. Michalerya

Audrey S. Michalerya, 88, of Bethlehem Township, died on December 21, 2020 at her home. She was born September 15, 1932 in Hellertown, PA; daughter of the late Sebastian and Margaret (Vetrosky) Schmidt. Audrey was preceded in death by her husband of over 62 years, Nicholas Michalerya.

Audrey and Nicholas loved Polkas, dancing, and going to the casino together.

Audrey will be remembered for her kind and giving nature and the enjoyment that she received from spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren.

She worked in the Billing Department for Bethlehem Steel Corp. prior to dedicating her life to her family as a homemaker. Later, Audrey worked at Thrift Drug for 10 years. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Vance; daughter, Monica Pearson and husband David; two loving grandchildren, Brett and Amanda. She was predeceased by her brother, Robert.

Visitation will be held at the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from 1-2 p.m. Masks and social distancing will be required upon entry. A limited number of guests will be permitted in the building at one time. A private funeral service will follow. Guests are welcome to join in the procession to Holy Saviour Cemetery following the private service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Heart Association.
