Aurora Linda Weaver, Msn, M. Ed, Rn

Aurora Linda Weaver, MSN, M. Ed, RN, 80, of Bethlehem Township, died on January 6, 2022. She was born June 2, 1941; daughter of the late Antonio and Anita (Yascuk) Arias.

Aurora is lovingly remembered as a devoted mother, nurse, and educator who gave her all and never compromised her principals.

She was a graduate of Liberty High School in 1959 and St. Lukes School of Nursing in 1962. Aurora earned a BSN in 1969 from Moravian College, in 1982 she graduated from Lehigh University with her M. Ed, and earned her MSN from Herbert Lehman College of the City University of New York in 1988. Aurora was a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Aurora applied her skills as a nurse, supervisor, director, and educator as well as co-authoring a book entitled “Critical Care Nursing Demystified”.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Rhonda Weaver, and Ryan Weaver and his wife, Angela Weaver as well as their 3 children, Chloe, Andrew, and Anthony Weaver. Aurora also had a sister, Loretta Arias.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 in the church hall of St. Aloysius Church, 29 S. Queen St., Littlestown, PA 17340 from 9:15-9:45 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be held 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Holy Saviour Cemetery, 2575 Linden St. Bethlehem, PA 18017. Guests wishing to attend are encouraged to meet at the entrance to the cemetery.
