Aurora Padilla

Aurora Padilla, 85, of Bethlehem passed away Tuesday March 20, 2012 at Cedarbrook Nursing Home in Fountain Hill, Pa. She was born on August 26, 1926 in Corozal, Puerto Rico, daughter of the late Juan and Anicasia Rivera Trinidad.

Aurora was a sewing machine operator for Sure Fit Products for 28 years retiring in 1991. She was a member of the United Textile Workers of America Union. Aurora was also a member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church and the Puerto Rican Club in Bethlehem.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, John Padilla of Allentown, daughter, Olga L. Ramos of Bethlehem, brothers, Emilio Trinidad, Miguel Trinidad, and Rajael Trinidad all of Bethlehem, sisters, Valin Trinidad of Puerto Rico, Teresa Fuente, Luz M. Pena, Carmen L. Rodriguez, and Iris Pena all of Bethlehem, 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by brothers, Amado Trinidad, Jose Trinidad, and Jesus Trinidad, and sisters, Mary Trinidad, and Gloria Negron.

A prayer service will be held at 9:30AM Saturday March 24, 2012 at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, Pa. 18018 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10AM at Holy Infancy Catholic Church 312 E. 4th St. Bethlehem, Pa. 18015. A viewing will be from 7-9PM Friday evening at the funeral home. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
