Barbara A. Ford

Barbara A. Ford, 77, of Bath, PA passed away on Friday February 12, 2016 in the At Home Parkland Health and Hospice in Schnecksville, PA. She was born on March 20, 1938 in Bethlehem, PA daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine (Geisinger) Collins. She was the loving wife over 40 years to Richard M. Ford. Barbara was a 1956 graduate of Liberty High School. She retired from Miller-Keystone Blood Center where she worked as a data entry clerk. Barbara enjoyed traveling; she especially enjoyed spending winters in Florida.

She will be dearly missed by her husband, Richard; sons, Thomas J. Rieger and his wife, Suzanne of Hershey; Richard J. Ford and his wife, Cookie and David A. Ford and his wife, Anna all of Bethlehem; daughter, Patricia A. Leiby and her husband, Butch of Germansville, PA; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren and her beloved dog, Alex. Barbara was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Rieger; son, Joseph Rieger; sisters, Patricia “Patsy” Priestas, Katherine Collins, Betty Jane Reiser and Nancy Hujcs and brothers, Robert Collins, Jack Collins and Thomas Collins.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 from 7-9 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 10-11 a.m. immediately followed by a service at 11 a.m. all at The Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. Interment will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
