Barbara Ann Morton

October 3, 1930 — May 21, 2019

Barbara Ann Morton, 88, of Easton, PA went home to be with Jesus on May 21st, 2019 where she resided at Atria Senior Living in Bethlehem, PA.

Born in Rahway, New Jersey, Barbara was a retired from ITT where she had been a senior executive secretary. She was a loving, funny, opinionated, caring and giving woman who lived an independent life on her own terms. She loved going to church and Jesus. Barbaras greatest source of pride and utmost joy was her family and friends. Although never married, she adored her nieces and nephews as if they were her own kids. Their dogs even had a very special place in her heart. Later in life, she loved being surrounded by her great nieces and nephews. Aunt Bobbie, as she was known to all her nieces and nephews, was always engaging and interested in everyones family life.

Barbara was devoted to her church in Brick and donated much of her time there. She gave to so many causes there are too many to mention. She loved her 5:00pm Gimlets and often had them while sharing a conversation with a friend or family member. She loved traveling and one of her favorite places was Lake Winnipesaukee where she and the family had spent many of their summers.

She is survived by her sister Ruth Jennings; nephew Ken Jennings and his wife Janet; their children Joyce Mclain and her husband Jordan, Laura McDowell and her husband Matt and four children, and Will; nephew Scott Jennings and his wife Randi; Scotts children Matt and his wife Emma, Ben and Sarah; Randis children Kala Wisniewski, her husband Troy and their son; Nicole Finn, her husband Mathew and their daughter; niece Barbara Signor and her husband Peter; and their son Sam and Barbaras children Cali Gilman, Kate Gilman and Jennifer Gilman. Niece Angela Midtbo her husband Erik and their daughters, Christopher Jennings and his wife Jozie and their daughter. She will be terribly missed.

Barbaras life will be celebrated and honored by family and friends along with her recently departed nephew Mark at noon on Saturday, July 13th, at the First Baptist Church of Laurelton, 1824 NJ-88, Brick, Township, NJ 08724. Barbaras ashes will be set to rest at the family plot in Rosehill Cemetery, Linden NJ.
