Barbara E. Judd

Barbara E. Judd, 69, of Bethlehem, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023, at Lehigh Valley HospitalMuhlenberg.

Born on July 28, 1953, in Coaldale, she was a daughter of the late Alvin and Frieda (Shellhammer) Oberman, Sr.

A graduate of Tamaqua Area High Schools Class of 1971, she went on to earn her nursing degree from Allentown General Hospitals School of Nursing.

Throughout the course of her career, Barbara served as a Registered Nurse for Dr. Bowen in Catasauqua, Muhlenberg Hospital, and Allentown General Hospital. She also served as a nursing faculty member with Lehigh Carbon Community College.

Outside of work, she was an avid scrapbooker who enjoyed going to the beach and camping.

She was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church, Allentown.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Carl W. Judd, who passed away on February 10, 2011.

Barbara will be lovingly remembered by four sons: Thomas C. Soldridge, Adam C. Soldridge (Alyssa Richter), Eric Judd, and David Judd; daughter: Shelly Wuttke; brother: Alvin Oberman, Jr. (Barabra), sister: Diane Secara (Mike); grandchildren: Gage, Jenna, Zander, Adam, Hayleigh and David Soldridge, as well as Mariah and Melanie Judd, and Sophie Wuttke; two nephews: Eugene Oberman, Alvin Oberman III, and Michael Secara; and two nieces Denice Lengyel and Rachel Cicil.

A visitation will be held at the Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 East Broad Street, Bethlehem, on Friday, February 24, 2023, from 10:00am until the time of the funeral service, in the funeral home, at 11:00am.

Interment will follow in Arlington Cemetery, Allentown.
