Barbara Hoffert

Barbara Hoffert, 88, of Bethlehem Township, died on Friday, September 2, 2011.

She was born July 2, 1923 in Bethlehem, PA, the daughter of the late George F. and Erma Mae Bachman Thackston.

Barbara was preceded in death by her loving husband Leonard W. Hoffert Sr. in 1998.

Barbara will be lovingly remembered by her son Jay W. Hoffert and his wife, Mary Lee, daughter, Pamela and her husband Robert Capuano, all of Bethlehem Twp.; eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Barbara was predeceased by two sisters, two brothers, and her son, Lenny Hoffert Jr. in 2000.



A viewing will be held from 9-10 AM on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018, with a funeral service following at 10 AM in the funeral home. Burial will be in East Dyberry Cemetery in Honesdale, PA.
