Barbara Silvoy

Barbara Silvoy, 73, of Bethlehem, died on Saturday, February 8, 2014. She was born September 27, 1940 in Allentown; daughter of the late Francis J. and Catherine (Kosh) Silvoy.

Barbara was a graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School and attended Ss Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church. She worked in the food industry for many years. Cooking in the kitchens of the Hotel Bethlehem, Saucon Valley Country Club and finally at The Bethlehem Club. Barbara was an avid Phillies and 49ers fan.

She will be dearly missed by her sisters, Frances J. Davco and Susan J. Silvoy of Bethlehem; brother, Stephen “Bo” Silvoy of Hellertown; her aunt, Elizabeth “Aunt Lil” Harrison as well as her nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. Barbara was preceded in death by her sisters, Kathleen Wert.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 from 10-10:30 AM with a service to follow at 10:30 AM at The Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018.
