Beatrice J. Straka

Beatrice J. Straka, 87, of Bethlehem, died on Saturday, June 27, 2015. She was born one of six children on June 18, 1928 in East Bangor, PA; daughter of the late Gilbert and Pearl R. (Williams) Miller. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen R. Straka. Beatrice retired from M.W. Wood where she worked on the campus of Lehigh University from 1969 to 1985. Earlier in life, Beatrice enjoyed playing bingo with friends.

She will be dearly missed by her son, Stephen R. Straka, Jr. and his wife, Mary Lou of Salisbury Twp.; daughter, Diane K. Jumper and her husband, David of Fredericksburg, PA; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cedarbrook Nursing Home, 724 Delaware Ave. Fountain Hill, PA 18015.
