Bela Sarkozy, Sr.

Bela Sarkozy, Sr., 80, of Bethlehem, died March 16, 2011 at his residence. Born in Szentgotthard, Hungary on May 3, 1930, he was the son of the late Ferenc and Maria Szarka Sarkozy. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Sarosi Sarkozy.

Bela was a former member of St. John Capistrano Catholic Church, Bethlehem and was employed by the Bethlehem Steel as a millwright.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Elizabeth; son, Bela, Jr.; brothers Rudolf, Sandor, and Kalman; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, Gyula, Joseph, and Vilmos, and sister, Vilma Desknay.

Arrangements are being handled by Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 19, at 12 P.M. Visitation will be Friday evening March 18, from 7 to 9 P.M. in the funeral home, and again on Sat. from 11-12 PM. Interment will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
