Bernadine A. Edwards

Bernadine A. Edwards, 89, of Bethlehem died on Wednesday April 6, 2011. Born in Bethlehem on March 26, 1922, she was the daughter of the late James and Helen Frick Cullen. She was the wife of the late Calvin B. Edwards.

Bernie was employed by the Lehigh Valley Railroad as a stenographer for 5 years, retiring in 1947. She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church, Bethlehem, and of their Sodality.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son John and wife Bobbi, daughters, Peggy Edwards, and Maryann wife of Joseph D. Geldon, sisters, Mary Gibbons, Kathleen Chrismer, Sr. Patricia Cullen, SSJ, and Sr. Elaine Cullen, SSJ, grandchildren, Lauren, Billy, Scotty, Troy, and Kevin, great grandchildren, Micayla, Aiden, Dresdyn, and Boden. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Mary, granddaughter, Terri Edwards, brothers, James, Edward, and Thomas Cullen, sisters, Beverly Stevens, and Dolores Gledhill.
