Bernadine B. Knoblick

Bernadine "Bernie" Barth Knoblick, 80 of Bethlehem, PA lost a very courageous battle with cancer and died on Thursday, September 23rd at St. Luke's Hospice, Center Valley, surrounded by her family. She and her husband Donald celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this past July 29th. She was the daughter of the late Leo and Hermina Sommer Barth. Bernie was a very caring and devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Bernie worked for many years at the Bethlehem Globe Times and most recently at Fuller Co. She was a member of University Parish of Holy Ghost in Bethlehem.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Donald, daughter, Diane, wife of Robert Snyder, son Donald and his wife Marguerite; her sisters, Louise Kunsman, wife of Truman Kunsman, Dorothy Bedics, wife of Joseph Bedics and her brother Leo Barth and his wife Rose. Her grandchildren, Susan Chambers, wife of Scott Chambers, Bryan Snyder and his wife Kelly, Donald Knoblick, III and Thomas Knoblick. Her beautiful great-grandchildren Jordyn and Austin Chambers will also miss their Mi-Mi. She also had many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased in death by her brother Raymond Barth.

A viewing will be held on Monday, September 27th at the Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 East Broad St., Bethlehem from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Tuesday September 28, 2010 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at University Parish of Holy Ghost, 417 Carlton Ave., Bethlehem, PA 18015.

Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
