Bernadine L. Evans

Bernadine L. Evans, 82, of Murrells Inlet, SC died on Tuesday April 22, 2014. She was born in Bethlehem, daughter of the late Stephen Anderson and late Mary (Yevich) Fody. She was the wife of the late Charles D. Evans who died in 2010. They were married 54 years.

Bernadine was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She loved spending time with her family and friends in Myrtle Beach SC, her residence since 1997. Bernadine enjoyed quilting, dancing, reading medical journals, daily prayer, and walking on the beach with her family. She was a member of the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association (FCSLA) and St Michaels Church of Myrtle Beach, SC

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Charles Evans III and wife, Debra; grandchildren Christopher and Elizabeth Evans. She was predeceased by her mother, Mary Fody, her father Stephen Anderson and her step-father David Fody.

Visitation will be held in the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, on Saturday April 26 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. An 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1817 1st St., Bethlehem Township. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
