Bernadine M. Kondash

Bernadine M. Kondash, 85, of Bethlehem died Friday morning at Country Meadows, Bethlehem Township.

She had been married for 57 years to George P. Kondash who died in 2003.

Born in Bethlehem she is the daughter of the late William and Hilda Sattler Richard.

Bernadine enjoyed years of canning, cooking and baking home grown fruits and vegetables for her family, friends and her church.

She was a member of the former Ss. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Bethlehem for over 50 years and is currently a member of Incarnation of our Lord Catholic Church, Bethlehem, Pa.

She will be dearly missed by her daughter Eileen wife of Joseph Boligitz of Lower Nazareth Township, her sons; George J. and his wife Evelyn of Hanover Township Northampton County, and James P. of Bethlehem. She is also survived by her brothers: Henry and Truman Richard both of Hellertown, sisters: Dorothy Nemes of Center Valley, Pa. and Loretta Poczak of Bethlehem, her four grandchildren: Alexander, Andrew, Aaron and Jennifer and her two great grandchildren: Nina and Nolan.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday Jan. 19th at 9:30 a.m. in the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad Street Bethlehem and followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Incarnation of Our Lord Church, 617 Pierce Street Bethlehem.

Visitation will be on Monday 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home in the funeral home.

Interment will be in Holy Savior Cemetery, Bethlehem, Pa.
