Bernard A. Dick

July 31, 1927 — January 4, 2011

Bernard A. ?Bernie? Dick, 86, of Northampton; departed this life, January 4. He was the oldest of ten children born to the late William and Agnes Albeck Dick.

He served in the US Army and graduated from St. Bonaventure University in Olean, NY in 1951. He worked for Western Electric and Bethlehem Steel, he also taught at Cardinal O?Hara and Bethlehem Catholic, and, was an accountant for Patt White and H& R Block.

He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings, Sr. Mary Cuthberta, of the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Rita, wife of Steve Gallo, of Houston, TX; brother, William of Easton; Germaine, wife of the late Charlie Brown, Bethlehem; Annette, wife of Mike Potkovac of Easton; Joe, of Bethlehem; Cletus and his wife, Gloria, of Hellertown; Kenneth and his wife, Olga, of Pueblo West, CO; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Georgine Hummel.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, January 08, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Ss. Simon & Jude Catholic Church, 730 West Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. in the church. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Camilla Hall c/o Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018.
