Bernard J. Mulreaney, 74, of Bethlehem Twp., died on Friday, November 10, 2006 at VNA of St. Luke's.
He was born in Hazelton, PA the son of the late Robert and Mary Shovelin Mulreaney
Bernard was preceaded in death by his wife Elizabeth J. Succick Mulreaney.
He retired from St. Luke's Hospital after 31 years of service in the Counseling and Support Services Dept.
Bernard will be lovingly remembered by his family; sons, Michael Mulreaney of Bethlehem Twp. and Thomas R. Mulreaney husband of Dianne of Wernersville, PA and daughters, Patricia wife of John Kropf of Macungie; Karen wife of Louis Yob of Bethlehem; Mary wife of Michael ?Reggie? Doyle of Mountainside, NJ; and Elizabeth "Lisha" wife of Joseph Stofanak, Bethlehem Twp.; as well as 16 grandchildren; a brother Eugene "Nooker" Mulreaney of Hazelton; and cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Bethlehem, where he served as a Eucharistic Minister and was a member of their Fellowship Group. Bernard was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and was an avid University of Notre Dame football fan.
A Visitation will be held on Monday November 13, 2006 at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, from 6-9PM and again on Tuesday November 14, 2006 from 8-9:15 in the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church on Tuesday November 14, 2006 at 10AM.
In lieu of Flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to VNA Hospice of St. Luke's 1510 Valley Center Parkway Suite 200 Bethlehem PA 18017
