Bernice T. Barletta

Bernice T. (Shuck) Barletta, 95, of Bethlehem passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2024. Born in Atlas, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Galvin) Shuck. She was the loving wife of the late Carmen D. Barletta. 

Bernice worked for over 20 years as a machine operator for Western Electric. She enjoyed bowling with the Jollettes and trips to the casinos in Atlantic City. Having holiday gatherings at her house, where she would cook for her family, brought Bernice great joy. 

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Thomas Barletta and his wife, Michele and step granddaughter, Anita Carlisle and her husband, Scott. Bernice was preceded in death by her sisters, Arlene Beahm, Mary Yenolevich, Elizabeth Kline and Gloria Matus and brothers, William Shuck, Jr., Joseph Shuck and Cyril Shuck.

A viewing will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A funeral service will follow at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
